Military leaders refused to hand over her poer an put her under house arrest at her home in Univeristy Avenue.
But it didnt stop there, on Nov 6, 1996, about 200 men swooped on a motorcrade with weapons and attack her car while she was driving in it.
But why would a group of men fear a tiny women?
She believed that it not power that: "Its not power that corrupts fear. Fear of losing power corrupts those who weild it and fear of the scourage of power corrupts those who are sunbject to it."
Despite all these attacks no , military force would hold a strong women like her down.
