
During the roaring 20's the term "flappers" referred to young women who were breaking triditonal barrers. These young women wore short skirt, and rocked bob cuts.
Their Behavior was considered "outlandish" at the time.
They would go to jazz clubs dance what was considered provactively, smoke, drink and date freely.
This to me was a postive change because it broke the tradition on women having to be home makers. This help set of the women's revolution & women's suffrage .
